well there is a posibility that you could get pregnant with protection, But most of the time it does work.

But if you do plan on using condoms are your form of birth control make sure you have the phone number of a family planning clinic or gyno so that if the condom does break you can get the emergency contraceptive pill(morning after pill) as soon as possible to prevent a pregnancy.

Condoms do sometimes work but just to be safe you should either already use some other type of birth control or strap twice.
