Severely disabled and masterbation

What are the laws on a severely physically disabled 33 year old man with only the ability to move his fingers and turn is head slightly and I am on a ventilator. The laws masterbation. I have only had one intimate girlfriend in 2005. I have DMD (Duchenne muscular dystrophy). When my muscles were stronger I did it myself. Is it lawful for me to get info on these topics from my nurse? Also is it lawful for a nurse to put my hand on my private part and then leave me in privacy. There is a lack of information. I am so confused. There is probably a fine line but where is it?

In your situation, I wouldn't worry too much about fine lines as long as you're not offensive to your nurse. I'm assuming she's a private nurse, and thus your employee. I don't think sexual harrassment is an issue here, and if I were you, I'd avoid making your request seem to be a sexual one. Just ask your nurse to do what you need, and don't provide explainations unless she (he?) asks. I doubt you are the first one to ever make such a request, and no one will hassle you over it unless they're stupid.

Ignore the laws. What could the government possibly do to you to punish you? Put you in jail so you can't run away? Hah! There's a law for everything and everyone, and unfortunately it's that way so they can choose who they want to go after. But, I don't think you have to worry about them going after you unless you're really really bad.

I've heard of cases of personal attendants helping the disabled mas*urba*e. I haven't found any laws regarding it however. I think that as long as your nurse is comfortable with it then it's fine. But you should definately discuss it first and draw out rules and lines that you shouldn't and won't cross so that both parties feel comfortable at all times.
