Seroquel vs weed.

My friend takes seroquel (sp) for her bipolar disorder.. She also has smoked weed in teh past, and wondering that if she did it again, would it affect anything ?

I took a very high dose of seroquel along with lithium and effexor ex. and weed does not effect those. as a matter of fact I asked my doctor on the downlow that, if I just smoked pot every day and not had to take those medications, would that work? he said yes. but shh I didn't tell you that! seirously...I hated those meds and you friend should stop taking it unless she has severe bipolar and really needs it. I took the meds for two years because I was pretty damn bad.
DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON IT THOUGH!!! BY ALL MEANS DO NOT DRINIK! even if you don't take it or a couple of days and then drink it would still affect you because it takes at least a month for thsoe types of medications to get out of your system. it's really dangerous. I ended up in a hospital and blacked out like that so many times.
she can smoke weed with no problem on it though...she would just gain a lot of weight (seroquel by it self makes you gain weight) and get sleep a lot

Weed will only cause relapse...
