Semi-formal hairdo?

I have a semi-formal dance coming up for my graduation class this week. I am wearing a simple but sexy, short black off-the-shoulder dress. What should I do with my hair?
I do not want to dress it up too much or something that will fall apart as soon as I start dancing, but at the same time the off-the-shoulder part of the dress looks really good with my hair up.

I wore a simple black sexy dress and just left my hair down and had it perfectly straight and it looked really good. I didn't get it done at the salon for the same reason, would just end up wrecked.
