Self concious in p.e.

Ok so a new trimester just started here at SHMS and I have P.E and I'm Fat so when I go in the locker room we have to undress into our uniforms.. but since im fat and every one else is skinny I am scared to change and get made fun of.. so I wait till...

mostly every one is out and change but this makes me late.. so what can I do to make myself not care what they think??

I know what you’re feeling buddy. I’m a fat guy too and locker rooms are not our friend. When I was in High School I feared I would be made fun of too but I created an easy and simple way to combat it. So now you’re presented with two options. You can either wear your uniform under your cloths like a chicken or you can go in balls out and take charge of the place.

Step 1: Walk in like you own the place.
Step 2: Go straight to your locker no lollygagging
Step 3: Talk to your Neighbors, offer them some of your chips or candy or whatever.
Step 4: Don’t waste time changing. You’ve been putting on cloths and taken um off for years so you should have it down to a fine science. Do it as quickly as possible.
Step 5: If you have to shower after class walk into the shower singing and don’t stop ‘til your back at your locker.

Follow these 5 steps and you’re bound to not only make friends but get over your fear. Now I can change in front of anyone no problems. Just be sure to were clean underwear.

Dude, you're a teenager. All teenagers are self conscious. You just have to let it go. Think about how everyone else is self conscious, and just change quick. I'm a girl and self conscious, and that's what I do.

then I just didn't care becuase most of
the girls don't care or are my friends or

I'm sure other girls in that same room are probably thinking the same thing. I'm too fat. I'm too skinny. I'm too ugly. Etc. Just be happy with who you are.
Also, you could go change in the bathroom. Or arrive their earlier to be the first one changed.

I was skinny but still self conscious too! After Swimming, all the girls would gather into this locker room and change in front of each other. I didn't like that Idea at all, so my trick would be to find a corner with a big towel around me and I would face the corner and change. It was even weirder when girls kept Questioning me why I didn't just change like they did. .. .out there!

Ok thanks I found an answer to my prob... I'm just going to wear an under shirt and keep that on through out the class...

so you're going to keep your undershirt on when you dress back into your regular cloths ? eww you're going to feel sweaty and nasty or even worst stink. look there is this dude in my weight liftin class with huge sagging boobs but he is strong as chit .. no one messes with him.. also there is this dude thats average strong and weighs like 260 and hes 6'0 so he's rather fat big stomach and man boobs. no one picks on him b/c big people can kick arse... just don't look like you're self concious and you won't have any problems.
