How to not be second to my best friend anymore?

okay, my bestfriend is always there for me, and I dont know what I would ever do without her, she is the girl I go to just to get hyper, or just to hang around when im down. but lately she is the thing that is getting me down. im always compared to her, and I cant take it. everyone acts like she is perfect, gorgeous, good at sports, funny,ect. and I always feel second best all the time. mostly around the guy I like, who is always flirting with her.

I am different then her, thats the thing that I dont get, im friendly, and she is shy. I make the friends first, they meet her second. I dont know..
