How long to wait to get to second base?

I am 16 and my girlfriend is 14 , we've been dating for three months. we are a long way from being ready for 'second base' but I'd like to know about how long we should wait and how I actually do it

There is no 'set' time you should wait to go to the next base. When your BOTH ready then go for it.
Though you might what to at least discuss before you try anything, you don't want to misread body signals or anything.
