why seatbets are illegal?

Seat belts in a vehicle are not illegal.

NOT wearing your seat belt is illegal, because you have a bigger risk of dying.

it should be your chice to wear a seatbelt your not hrming anyone else!

I dont understand the question... if your asking why its illegal not to wear it, its because you could fly through the windshield or something else fatal if you arent wearing it.

yes that is true but seatbelts also have the tendancy of killing you also.

jake is slightly correct, a long time ago my dad was a trucker and he flipped his truck, his seat belt slashed his neck, he was ok but hes got a nice scar.

It is illegal not to wear a seatbelt. If you have a road accident, it stops you falling forward and it helps your organs not to keep travelling, and break your ribs, which then piunctures your organs, and you die.

Have you guys ever seen the advert, where it goes like:

Thats not what killed Richard.

If you have then, that is what I am talking about.

Wearing your seat belt IS a law. Why? Because it saves lives. NOT wearing your seat belt is ILLEGAL and if your caught, you WILL be fined. You always hear things like if they would have wore their seat belt, they'd still be here after someone is killed in a car accident and wasn't wearing their seat belt. And that's probably true. Seat belts usually hold you in the car and keep you from getting seriously injured. But wearing a seat belt doesn't automatically mean you won't get hurt if your in a car accident, it just lowers your chances of dying or getting seriously injured.
