You do that with your hands, by lighting it up and like scrunching it together with your hands.

you can scrunch your hair by using a certain type of mousse (I don't know what its calld sorry) but anyway you put it in your hair then you just take your hands and scrunch your hair but hold your hands there for a couple of seconds and do it a few times to be sure it stays scrunched.

when your hair is wet, use any type of gel and brush through, flip your head upside down so your hair hangs, keep scrunching with your hands til you get it how you want! its very easy.
