a. distraction - do something you enjoy doing, or do something to get your mind off it (call a friend, etc etc)
b. cognitive reframing - lets do a little reality testing here... are you in the habit of failing your classes? if not, then what makes you think you'll fail these ones? just remind yourself, you're a smart person (I know this by the fact that you are in honors, and a gut feeling you're not in the habit of failing classes), and you can cope with the class. At worst you may not get the grade you want, but that is not the end of the world. Just try talking yourself through it. It really does wonders.

School problems
hey, so today was my first day of school and I didnt think it went too bad at the time but, the first week or two of school I always feel miserable and I cant stop crying(this has happened the last 3 or 4 years)
the mere thought of school makes me want...
to cry. I think I've cried at least 8 times since I got home
I dont know why it makes me so sad but I hate it
I dont know if its the fact that summers over or feeling like I will fail all my classes or both
my biggest worries right now are about failing chem honors and spanish honors, but even the thought of buying binders makes me sad
this usually only lasts the first week or two and then im over it, but I hate these weeks
can anybody suggest some way to make me feel better and happy after school instead of miserable?
