Scene,punk,emo ect. labels.

Stop trying to dehumanize me with a label based on my appearance.Maybe if people stopped worrying so much about other people.There wouldn't be so many fake losers out there.And people would be who they actually wanted to be.Without fear of being ridiculed.Everyone is far too concerned about others having a positive outlook upon them.To actually do what they want because they want to,not just because of what others might think.

I want to know what you think about labeling others based on their appearence.

loshmo I think our biggest problem as a speciesis our problem with assumption making.We assume without knowing, and take our assumptions for facts.We assume this over that. This is right, that is wrong. A constant struggle for those on either side.We forget how little we truly know.We're ridiculous.It seems like we find the stupidest reasons to dislike others.I'm trying to refrain from doing that, you might want to try too

if they dont want to be labelled then maybe they shouldnt say stuff like "I consider myself scene" or "im an emo" or "im thinking about turning goth"
these people want attention
they bring it on themselves
they are far too concerned with other people thinking they're cool

This whole topic is balls you aren't after opinions you just want people to tell you you're right and if they don't they you assume them "judgemental" I don't discriminate, I have plenty of scene kid friends. I don't treat them any differently but I do think it's ridculous that they all try to be 'different' in the same way.

I think it's ironic that one of the most used insults towards scene people are that they, all think the're unique looking when they all look the same. why do I think this is ironic. because if you go to a grocery store or a macy's or a mcdonald's or anywhere, chances are, little to no people there will have any facial piercings, wild hair, tattoos, or style. So if they're trying to be unique, and if almost every place they step into has no one else who looks like them, I think that's called being unique. the fact that scene kids look similar is true for any style. all bros look alike too, with their ridiculously huge lifted trucks. I personally try to refrain from using the word scene, or any other labels for that matter, because I recognise that we are all still people regardless of our appearance, so I'm not going to try and use a label as a form of slander.

I asked this question knowing people will disagree not hoping people will go along.
I'm not looking for any drama. Littile kid drama bores me and annoys me. I'm 13 and live around very ingnorant people.

I have crossed this issue. I went through a whole phase of thinking I was badly done to cause everyone called me emo. Then I realised it was because I was acting like an emo. Me and all my friends looked completely uniformed it was pathetic. Listening to bands and preteding there songs had meaning to me. Thinking my life was so hard when I had it much easier then.
I'm just glad I've grown out of it all and don't really give a sh!t.
If you know you are being true to yourself. Then you won't care what others think.

I'm actually tired of getting labeled and getting judged by what others labell me I've been labeled emo and they will be like hey emo kid go cut yourself even tho im very outgoing and dress normally I've been called scene and that my friend I don't know why and punk and goth ect. I've even been called a prep wich is really sad buut I do my best to ignore.
