Is it normal to be scared of the dark at 13? All my friends don't mind the dark at all, and I'm terrified of it! =(

not picking at you. I just want to know what invokes the fear. is it the dark itself? or the fear that something lurks within it?

I think its something you will grow out of.
mind over matter. try preparing yourself mentally before approaching darkness again...
you can do it.
