It's only a book.

If it scares you that much, stop reading it.

honestly you should read it, it is very disturbing. The audiobook is on youtube, try and find the chapter where Rachel talks about Zelda and tell me you aren't scared!

I've read it...as a matter of fact I've read all of Stephen King's books - and seen the movies.
His works are not scary...psychologically disturbing, but not scary.

You're really taking this too far...just put the book away.

Warl I'll bet you haven't read the book, what's the name of Rachel's dad?

Do you have any idea how old I am and when that book came out?

Am I supposed to remember every detail of a book I read about back in 1984 (I was 9 by the way, and not scared).

I'm not going to be tested, ok...no, I don't know Rachel's dad's name...as far as I can remember, I never did know, but I remember her children's names and her husband's name...you want those? Ellie, Gage and Louis...the cat's name was Winston Churchill...is that enough?

I'm done playing games with you...grow up already.

the book came out in 1983, good work with google. I'm sure nothing does scare you, after all you appear to look like a vampire yourself.

Are you serious?
I don't care when the book came out - I only know when I read it...you see, my mother collected Stephen King's books, so I would read them whenever I wanted...I don't need google to tell me that.

Why aren't you in school, anyway? Seems you should be ...you lack intelligence.

I'm not a vampire - it's a Halloween picture...you know Halloween is coming, don't you?

You're so childish it makes me crazy...my 11 year old is more mature than you.

I'm seriously done with you...this conversation is over.

You said this was over before. I do go to school, I don't know how you gather that I don't. I have a problem and you aren' even trying to help, for all you know I used to face a similiar situation in real life and reading the book traumatizes me.

I believe she did answer your question when this all began. If it scares you that much, then don't read it.

I too read it many years ago, and have a difficult time remembering all the details of the book. I do remember the cat's name though.

And to be honest I always found Stephen King to be rather boring. So like most people I know who did actually find his drab books scary. They did what Ichi said. they stopped reading the book, until they decided they were ready to handle it.

Oh, by the way, liked how you tried to test her on the question and then accused her of googling it. Nothing more amusing then a child trying to take on an adult in a match of wits and intellegence.

If it's traumatizing to you, just don't read it.
I'm sure it is a good book, but if it's making you lose sleep, just find another book to read.
I read To Kill A Mockingbird only a couple of years ago and I can't remember every detail.. You asked a question and you got answers. Whether they read it or not, it doesn't matter. Grow up and stop arguing with people on the internet. happy

Awww you're getting battered from all angles here =[

I have never read the book before, but you probably feel more scared at night because there aren't any distractions, all you can do is think about stuff... I advise you stop reading, you will get over it... don't worry no-one is going to jump out of the closet.

It will be alright =]
Good luck!!
