Scared and confused

I did it for the first time last night and it was weird because all he did was in and out. But now I have a great fear of pg and I feel just weird all over. So is it better for my boyfriend and I just stop sticking and just stick to fingering? I know you could get pg from fingering, but if I feel weird all over, is just better to stick to that and not him stick his thing in and out?
