Personally I started wearing whatever I wanted and really stopped caring. People rarely actually ask questions (just tell them you work with cats if they do...) but if your family doesnt know I guess that can be an issue...

Wrist scars can be covered by long sleeves, bracelets, or watches.
In summer, wear long-sleeved shirts of light material (silk, gauzy cotton, and the like).
Another summer idea is to wear a long-sleeved shirt open over a tank top or t-shirt. If anyone questions it, you can tell them you're worried about sun exposure.
Some leg scars in women can be hidden by pantyhose or tights.
Concealer makeup (like Dermablend) can be used to hide some scars. You can get more info at dermablend.com. People have reported getting very good results with Dermablend, which was formulated for covering port-wine birthmarks and skin conditions like vitiligo. It's waterproof and can be blended to match skin color very closely.

I agree with ty, if anyone asks just say that a cat scratched you. But if you want the scars to heal faster, try using shower gloves - you can find these anywhere. They have a rough surface and can help your skin exfoliate so it can heal faster. Scrub your arms with them when you're in the shower (with soap). Rub on creams containing vitamin E, you have to make sure your scars are always moisturized because that will help it heal. The deeper the cuts the longer for the marks to go away. Good luck.
