How old do you have to be to get a savings account in a bank?

You can get one at your age, but your parent or guardian has to be the primary account holder...meaning you can't take money out unless they are there. Go check out some banks, I like Bank of America the most.. check them out. happy

I don't think it matters. Minors need a parent to approve.
