I find LaVeyan Satanism to be the more interesting of the two types. Although LaVey was somewhat questionable and may have stolen some of his ideas, he packages them in a very concise, readable format. This brand of Satanism is atheistic but recognizes that man has a natural need for dogma and ceremony. "Satan" represents vital natural forces and Satanism as a philosophy is based upon natural law. It advocates personal responsibility and strength, self-satisfaction, and creative living. It does NOT allow for child or animal abuse, wanton lawbreaking, or any such as that.

You really have to read his books to get the full picture but I'm sure there are some articles online that can give you a good idea.

Be very, very careful what you 'dabble' in - it may very well open a portal (door) you never want opened.

It is the exact opposite of Christianity. The author of Satanism, is the epitmy of all evil.
Why would you even want to know about that? Look around you... you can see his footprints everywhere...
all the pain and suffering of the universe is caused by him. Do you truly want to give him glory...by even considering his ways... look and see the results of his actions.
Open your eyes...and your ears... to the suffering humanity...

Then, behold the cry of the Lamb.

Sigh, why are religious people so afraid of knowledge? Its as if we're back a couple of centuries when science was thought to be the devils work and people were branded witches and killed!
There is nothing wrong with knowledge... knowing what other people are like, what they believe in and what they do leads to tolerance, and isnt that what religions teach? tolerance and love of your fellow man?

Well, Satanism is suposed to be a religion they say but really its the devil.
I don't know much of the Satanic bible so really you should stay away from this stuff since I've been there done that by being aroused so Satanism is something you wouldn't want to touch.

believe it or not plp in the "religion" don't even worship satan
it's a self worship thing, a long term selfishness,
even their all famous icon that they stole depicts that
the inverted pentagram meaning material matters over spirit
the upright depicting spirit over material matter
it has nothing to do with any type of witchcraft, wiccan, pagans, etc
it was basicly made in the rebelion of Christainity
nothing more it would seem
