Sacrifice and love.

Hi my name is mike and I just joined the united states navy I'm 19 years old and living 1300 miles from my best friend Stephanie. and I've got another one of those best friend questions. I've been away from home now and her now for 6 months. about a month ago we were having trouble just talking because we missed each other so much. and one of our nights of talking we got really frustrated about this and she told me every feeling that shes ever had for me. and I hadn't thought that this would come true ever. shes always had a boyfriend and always been with someone but I've been by her side with everything for 3 years and now were in love and it just seems really hard to have something when were so far away. we've talked about everything you can possible talk about and I'm really nervous about going home and seeing her she means the world to me and knows it. she says that when I come home and spend a week with her that that will determine our future together. we've never fought about anything and lately we have little fight but we just agreed to never fight again unless its absolutely necessary. I'm asking if relationships like these where best friends fall in love and want to spend the rest of our life's together really work out? if you could help me out with this question id greatly appreciate it. thanks.

aww!!! I heard of best friends gettting together but for me, it just wasnt the case haha TOO WEIRD but omg! dont be nervous! be excited! when you firdt hug her, put your hand on her cheek and just look in her eyes and simply say 'I love you'

personally, I hate the army and all of that because I wouldnt b able to stand my boyfriend or husband being gone!

wow. Thanks for your service to our country! Honestly, long distance relationships are hard (believe me!) , but you are building on years of fun memories, trust, and a lot of love. I'm a hopeless romantic so I really believe that you guys will make it. Its not like you just met, great relationships are built on things the two of you already have, so what could go wrong! Just be natural when you see her. If you act in any other way than you normally do- it could make her feel weird. If things are meant to be- and it sounds like they are- everything will just fall into place. I really hope everything works out for the both of you and be safe in the navy!
