im sorry to say, but im 16 and I know for fact that teenagers know nothing about truly living on their own unless both parents leave for days at a time forcing the kid to support themself.
I've almost ran away twice. its nearly impossible.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but im not going to sugar coat the truth.
im writing a story about running away, its better than doing it.
turn your destructive emotions elsewhere (art or something) and turn them into constructive things.
if your environment is toxic, try to fix it, if you can't, get emancipated or something.
I hope everything turns out ok, good luck!
make good choices

have you ever heard that if you try to run from your problems, they will follow you everywhere you go? have fun learning that one the hard way. (I only know because I'm hard headed too.) I doubt anyone who does know the answer to your question would answer. it would be devistating if you rationalized running away. the streets are brutal to young people. you have other resources. if you are being abused, tell an adult that you do trust. talk to a social worker, councilor, a member of a nearby church. there are lots of people who live just to help people like you. whatever is going on... you can work through it.
