Unableto install AOL 9.1 for dial up connection. Receiving error message: Error loading C:\Users\sophia\protect.dll. How can remove error?

Usually, not always, but usually you can rename the protected file to something else, then after your next restart delete it.

HOWEVER protect.dll is commonly used by trojans and virus installations. THIS IS WHAT I SUSPECT HAS OCCURRED. (The file is 73% of the time a threat!) Make sure you run an antivirus program FIRST, preferably from a live CD.
