I never care about rumors, I think they're immature and a waste of time. But now theres a really bad one about me, saying I lied about a serious incident a few months ago. It hurts because what happened wasn't my fault and people are really hurting me, how can I stop worrying?

Think about why people start and spread rumors. They are insecure bored people who prefer to put others down because their own self esteem can't sustain itself without it. In a few years you can look back and realize how much more mature you are than all those other a-holes. If you were sexually assaulted, I hope you are getting professional guidance. The feelings associated with that don't go away by themselvesThe reason to why people spread rumors, is because it makes them feel superior. Or they're just bored with their own drab lives. That they have to make fun of other to create entertainment for themselves. You shouldn't worry about what they have to say. Hold your head up high with confidence and you will prevail. When you see the people who made fun of you/rumored about you. Think of WHY they would be making fun of YOU. And just remember. They're losers who want to feel superior Is this a matter for your school truancy officer to understand? We have no truancy officers in Canadian schools that I am aware of, and such a matter would be taken into consideration as to whether to take it to the school principal or vice principal but if everybody would be to do so then the principal could eventually become disillusioned to all of the allegations of questionable character. With the truancy officer or guidance counsellor a computer entry could be established that could be reinforced by other pupils with similar complaints. The school I attended was satisfactorily civil, but perhaps it is that I am not foxxy like you. You have to live through it and prove yourself as reliable. Merely make a statement contrary to your involvement when required, and let your friends decide. The truth usually wins out and the party in the wrong is often determined as being unreliable. Disassociate with troublemakers who slander your name and let not them lay waste to your reputation by causing you angry motivation to make others dislike you for acting against principle, but don't make a joke out of it, this is serious business. Do unto others rule is not requiring you to return in equally bad deed, that starts a circle of hatred, instead stand on your moral ground and let time heal this wound.

Even pray for your foes that they might take back what has been said but perhaps God's wrath is appropriate to pray for in your thinking, God works in mysterious ways but do not be malicious in such request, instead decide to leave reconciliation with God to work out for you. Those with fear of God do not slander others and perhaps God's wrath in some way will grace you to their correction
KEY WORDS IMMATURE PPLS... I no I have rumors and name callin(teasing) ill tell you if you want

Well, I'm a worry wart, as they say and it's hard not to worry about things when you care. The only thing that I found is to try and occupy my mind with something else. Read or stay busy. Remember, too, that you are letting this person accomplish what they set out to do and you wouldn't want that, would you?
