What color to paint my room?

this summer I am planning to paint my room another color. I have white wall that have pink and blue thingys that look like splashes and my floor color is a burgandy. I can't change my carpet but I want to change my room color to match me. I can do...

with almost any color besides pink. I've lived with pink in my room for 16 years and I HATE IT NOW! I want something that I different.

I think you should paint it a burgundy color to match your carpet.

PURPLE!! It looks good w/ blue, green, pink, anything!

I'M REALLY THINKING LIME GREEN OR LAVENDER. I REALLY LIKE THE LIME GREEN IDEA OR THE YELLOW. I'M MORE TOM BOYISH BUT HAVE A GIRLY SIDE TO SO REALLY THINKING LIME GREEN! HAHA.

I would like a light color in my room.

I suggest getting some sample colors from Home Depot, or whatever place you go to, bring them home, and compare them to your rug. See which ones you like most.

Have some fun...do some reading on colour therapy. Each colour will effect people in different ways. If you are a hyper type person stay away from the reds, oranges and even yellows. If you need to be calm you go to the blues and greens. But find some books on the topic and you'll probably be surprised how colours will effect your moods.

Hmm... if you want somewhere to go where you feels relaxed try cool tones like blues, purples, and darker greens.
if you want something a little more crazy and and warmer try yellows, oranges and reds.
I went from lime green to dark brown in my room. I liked the dark brown better because I felt more relaxed. I loved the lime green because it was fun and reflected my personality.
Sometimes it's good to go with something you can be versatile with when it comes to what you put in it.. then you would go for a neutral tone like a beige or a tope.

Either a Neon color or a broad color, like BLACK OR WHITE. stripes, dots, ANYTIHNG you can find which will keep you entertained! :]
