I'm going to go with Jesus. Even if you don't believe he is the son of God, he still went around healing people, and always talked about peace. I think that's a pretty good start for a role model.

personally, I don't think you can have ONE role model for an entire generation of teenagers...

I don't necassarily believe in role models, I think it gives one person too much power.. I try and be a really good role model to my children, I teach them that if you make a mistake, own up and don't do it again, I try and teach them if you fall, you should get up, if you loose, be happy for the winnder, if you fail, you try again...

I think if angelina jolenes wasn't so skinny I would say her, she does lots of charity work, and she is rearing a multi-cultural / diverse family in a world where racism / terrorism and stereotyping is rife, this world has a need for more acceptance over other peoples cultures and religions - anyone who does anything to bring acceptance, respect and understanding is good in my eyes...

jesus is a fantastic role model, and one that I would say if I didn't think that his message had become so distorted and adapted to suit mankind over the last goodness knows how many hundreds of years...

but I think, in essence, we should be our own role models, and aspire to be the best that we can be, accepting other people choices (as long as those choices don't hurt anyone else)...we can all be amazing...we just require the application..

It depends - my role models are my own family members.

i hope you do not take offense,

How about the Medal winners in the Olympics. Whether Bronze, Silver or Gold, there are Medal winners of all ages, races, cultures and both sexes. They inspire many and are usually good role models.
