Robin egg

Shark Atack Asked by funadvice 3 months ago, 3 answers.

I cut down a branch in my grandmas back yard. I then came upon a robin egg in a nest. I decided to try to keep it alive but I cant tell whether the egg is alive or dead. So my question is, how can you tell wheather a dark blue robin egg is alive?

Take it to an animal rescue center and let them deal with it. They know what to do. (If you don't know how to find one call a vet and tell them what happened - they will know where to go.)

if its cold, its dead. you can take a strong flash light and hold it up to the light and see if you can see an embryo inside, if there is one in it, and the egg is cold, im sorry but its dead. if its still warm, try a low powered heating pad and some towels. good luck!
