Why did Chris Brown beat up Rihanna? And why did Rihanna take him back?

No one will really know the answers to these questions apart from the two involved.

I don't know either one, and I am not really paying attention to the case, but if he did beat her up it is because he is a jerk, and if she did take him back it is because she is stupid. You don't take that kind of crap from someone and then forgive them.

There was a guest on one of those talk shows and he had written a book on batterer and abused wifes/girlfriends and this guy had interviewed 10,000 battered women and found out that they all had one thing in common ___--- they did not know the meaning of SHUT UP, women have to fight with their mouths and a man fights with his hands, A woman can mouth off until the man touches her then comes the screaming and the 911 calls and she keeps the house and the kids and his car and his paycheck - SOUNDS LIKE AN ALAN JACKSON COUNTRY SONG!!!

If this didn't involve two celebrities, no one would even care.
They're just people, give them some privacy and leave them alone.

well chris browns family have a history of domestic violence
she also didnt like him having contact with other women she didnt even let him see his fans sometimes
hmmm a bit extreme if you ask me
but stil no excuse to hit a lady
and why the heck would you take him back...

No one would really know besides Chris Brown and Rhianna,but either way she should never had took him back, so there for Chris Brown is a woman beater but in an other way Rhianna is stupid for taking him back so if this ever happens again she now knows it coming when he raises his arm to her face.
