Ridiculous fight with my best friend

Ok! So last friday my best friend (let's call her n) and I were hanging out at school and I said 'hey let's hang out tonight cause we haven't hung out in like a week!' and she was like ok! So after school we get in her moms car and her mom said 'n, you know you cant hang out today, you have so many chores to do before we leave for san diego tomorrow. It's going to take you all day.' and said it wouldnt take her all day but her mom kept saying it was going to take her all day. So n's mom drove me to my house and dropped me off and I was leaving, and said 'ok ill call you when im done'. And I was like ok.

So there I was alone on a friday night.. Not the best way to spend a friday night alone at your house. So I called another friend (l) and went over to her house. About 45 minutes later and called and said she was done with her chores. I said 'oh im hanging out with l now. I thought it was going to take you all day!' and she was like 'well im done! Thats dumb.' and I was like 'sorry! Your mom kept saying it was going to take all day.' then I invited her like eight times to come hang out with l and I, but she said no every time. I told her to meet us at the movies later, and she said no to that too.

So later l and I were at the movies and we had plans to meet another friend there (lets call her e) and pick her up and sleep over at my house. So as we walked out of the theatre we spotted e, with n! And a couple other friends. Apparently e had come with n..even though she said no when I invited her to the movies. Anyways, they walked up to us and and kinda just stood there not saying anything, then she called some people on her phone. Then a friend of mine, e's, and l's said he was going to a party with some kids and e really wanted to go and so did l and since the plan was for them to sleep over that night, I was like 'ok. I guess we're going to a party.' and I asked and if she was going to be at the movies by herself when we left and she said yes. And I was like 'aw. Okay well bye..' and she kinda glared at me. And then e, l, and I left with our friend and some other guys to go to the party.

The next day (saturday) I felt kinda weird about it so I texted and saying 'hey babe.. Sorry about last night.. That was kinda weird.' and she never texted me back. I figured she just got her phone taken away or something.
Then on monday I went up to her at school and I was like 'hey!' and I was all nice to her and asked about her competition she had on the weekend and everything. But she kept being blunt/curt throughout the conversation so I just said bye and left..
Then next period her friend who she was with over the weekend told me that and had told her that and was mad at me! So then I got furious. She has no right to be mad at me! And I already apologized to her.
So now it is wednesday afternoon, we are still not talking and I dont know what to do. She says she wont talk to me until I apologize in person. But I already tried to talk to her and be nice already and she was mean about it. So I don't know what to do I dont want to beg at her feet. Help?

You guys need to work things out. I mean you were a little rude to her because she said it would not take all day and you took her mom's word for it instead of your friends. Then you got mad because she was mad at you and went to the movies with someone else. Then you made her mad again cause you abandoned her at the movies or party or whatever instead of including her or going with her. So I feel she has a right to be mad at you and texting is a crap way of apologizing to her. I would demand the same out of you. If you respect her as a person and a friend you would apologize to her in person and talk it out.
