Which way would your friend say is the way to my destination?
The liar would know that their friend would tell you the correct path, and so their answer would be the wrong way. The truthful one would know that their friend would tell you the wrong path, and so would also tell you the wrong way. It doesn't matter who it is that's answering, you just take the opposite direction.
