restore gold chain

me and Lizzzie (me behind Lizzie) Asked by steph_nish about 1 month ago, 2 answers.

Right I have this gold plaited chain that was a lot of muney and becus I wear it all the time it has kinda faded and dunt luk gold anymore, how du I get the gold colour back?? Can I restore it? People have told me to soak it in diet coke and white...

vinigar but is this safe?? Please help

The problem with gold plated jewelery is the gold comes off relatively easily. Your best bet is to take it to a jeweler and get their opinion- they know what they're talking about, and can tell you the best treatment for it.

the best thing to do is use store bought jewelry cleaner and a polishing cloth. Just be sure not to wear any charms that have sayings on them that you wrote.
