Report someone?

When someone is reported, who checks them out?
Why would they be deleted?

I think “thedude” checks all reports and maybe “editor” does too.

They most likely would be deleted for being in continual breach of the Terms of Use, or they have been harassing other members. I think you can also get in trouble for posting off topic replies to questions as well.

The editor or the dude checks them out. If they have been warned before then there is a chance they will be deleted. Some behaviours are not welcome on here. The dude wants it to be safe for everyone.

What are reasons they would be deleted?

I am one of the few others that can delete. I will only delete or block a person if they blatantly disregard the Terms of Use. The usual deletions are spam, and not actual participating members.

Just to add to the above, the Advisors can bring concerns over particular members to the site Administrators but Advisors are not able to delete members.

As previously mentioned, members that are deleted have often already been advised of their behaviour and why it is unacceptable but have chosen to ignore this warning.

We all want this to be a fun and enjoyable site but this experience can sometimes be ruined by a very small amount of members who decide to ignore the terms of use even after being warned.

Specifically it says:

Why was my question or account deleted?

If you violate the Terms of Service, we will delete your question, answer, or photo. If you are repeatedly rude, obnoxious, creepy, or lie about your age, income, marital status, or similar trying to impress other members of the site, you will be deleted.

If you are under 13 years old and you register for our site, we will delete you.
