religion is man made. long before we had christianity, islam, Buddhism, all of them, people believed in gods. we had to believe something was there, gods made wind, fire, rain, good crops, bad crops.

it has been around as long as we have in one form or another.

Religion is Man trying to reach god at his own level of understanding. Christianity is God reaching out to Man with a plan of action and salvation. ie Freedom from Living under th Law, ie sacrifices, moving us to Living in/under Grace in Love
