Did i make a mistake in breaking up with him?

definetly don't want to wait six or seven years more for anything to happen. it seems silly but our relationship was dying because we weren't going anywhere. He still loves me a lot, and I'm scared that I will regret breaking up with him. When I think about it I get all confused ,I think about how bitter I was getting by being with him and having us go no where and then I think about all the wonderful times we had and what a great boyfriend he was. I was getting bitter a couple months ago I was just getting tired of the way things were going, I felt like we needed a change, I asked him one night about making a change and he said he wasn't ready. this kinda concluded it for me. you see I have problems with commitment and it would have been hard to move in with him but I would have done it for him... in a way he kinda made my decision for me, I don't think he realized it and I don't think I even realized it.so I did it, I broke up withi him. but what if... I made a mistake? what if he was the guy for me and I blew it? what should I do to be certain if I made the right choice?

most definetly it is called space and how ell you two people need in this situation stay with space but do play with each other seriouly it could hurt more remeber it call I neeed space and both of you deserve it
