Red spots under my armpit

Ok I’ve had this problem before and I was on meds and now its back. I have tons of red itchy spots under my right arm pit, some even look like little zits. Last time this happened one of them got really infected and thats why I was put on meds and they cleared up. Now for some reason it’s back I don’t know if my period has set something off or if it could be a bad ravor. Has anyone has this problem before? I put come cream on it so the itching has stopped but im really confused as to what the heck it is and how to not get it again. If anyone knows how I can clear it up that would be awesome thanks.

my six year old has them they look like skin tags. Her doctor referred her to a specialist but she said it was warts that children get under the arm especially when the are swimming and moisture is left behind with it dark and warm under the arm it is a perfect area for a virus to grow. It is a different wart from the ones that usually grow on you fingers or toes. Hope this helps.

Answer #4

well I have that too, so it cant be from razor burn or your period because im a guy, I went to the doctor who told me it was a staph infection, and he said that even with treatment it can come back, so maybe you should just go to the doctor again because thats probably what it is.

Answer #5

It could be from shaving, thats happened to me a few times. I know its gross, but stop shaving your armpits for a bit, maybe thatll help them clear up.

My 6 year old daughter has this too! She has had them for the best part of a year now and are really bothering her as she now has exma with the spots that it traveling down her body and arm. I’ve taken her to the docs a few times because of this and they said I cant put anything on it as it will make the spots spread. Her exma is getting worse and I dont know how to get rid of it if I cant put any cream on?? She is getting very self conciouse of it now. I just want to help her feel better

Answer #7

You ususally don’t need medication for razor burn, do you? The razor burn I have had didn’t itch, it burned and stung.

Answer #8

it could be razor burn… I have had it 1 or 2 times but it goes away in like 3 days

my baby boy has this rash and he is 15 months old, they look like zits you’d get on your face, I to took my son to the docs and she called it something beginning with m I can’t remember, she gave me some fucidic cream to see if that helped because of the extent of them and is curently monitoring the situation.I wish they would clear up as they look awful.

OMG! may 14 months old baby has also red spots under her left armpit! doc told that it’s just skin infection and gave her some ointment Mupirocin 2% so we can monitor her for 10 days if it’s worsen take her back to the doc … I hope this ointment will help to clear them up!

Answer #11

Is the word beginning with ‘m’ molluscum? It may be that

Answer #12

My left armpit has a large red circle that kind of looks waxy, with small scabbies that look like zits that have popped. It itches, burns and stings all at the same time. I also have a horizontal cut about 1/2 inch long right where my pit folds. Like I said it itches, burns and hurts all at once. Please e-mail me with any responses as to what this is. My e-mail is bigman225@aol.com

Answer #13

My daughter has that!!! OMG! They are right in her armpit too. she’s only 6 so it’s nothing to do with your period. I took her to the doctor and she said to just leave them alone and they will go away eventually. It sounded kinda weird to me that the doc gave me that advice. I can’t remember for the life of me what the bumps are called, it starts with an M. The doc also said they are in the wart family, not warts, but in the family. Its been about 4 or 5 months since we first detected them and they are almost gone. Just leave em alone. don’t scratch or rub them.

mostly known as razor rash, razor burn, etc. Yes its totally normal. And I get that too when im in a hurry and im shaving my vag ahhaha and I get red bumps but let the hair grow out (gross I know) so the red bumps go away and then be careful when you shave it again, use shaving cream and do it slowly. hope I helped=)
