Red face!

I have a REALLY red face! its not acne because I dont have any, but my face is always red. like im lushing really badly. Does anyone know how I can reduce it? without using loads of makeup?

It could be because you live in a polluted area maybe? And a dry climate..more inland than sea?

Try using just a normal aqueous cream for your face instead of other products and don't put oils on you face. I.e. bio oil. That can worsen the redness. Also wash your face with the aqueous cream, don't use normal soap, it'll just cause it to dry out more.

Also when going outside (even in winter) wear a sunscreen, because if it gets cold you tend to get burned easier because you walk in the sun more. (get a light one of at least SPF 15)

I used to live in Maryland, but I've recently moved to South Carolina.

unfortunately I am not from USA, so I do not know the climates over there, but I am guessing that is the reason why your face is like that. I get the same problem where I live now, but when I go to the coast I have the most beautiful skin. So the above is what prevents me from getting red skin.

find a skin calming cream at the drug store. that should help.

clinique has an own skin-product-line that specializes in redness - a friend of mine had the same problem at the products pretty much did the trick
