Rebound relationship

How long does it take before people don't call it a rebound relationship?

I think it depends on how long you went out with him.

If it was a long relationship [a year, two years...] I'd say 3 or 4 months at the least.

If it was short [a few months] I'd say 1 month or 2 months.

I'd say it s not a mater of time, but state of mind. It's on the rebound in my opinion, if you're still hurting from the other and you haven't resolved it within yourself.

So hey - in that sense, it could be a day!

I agree with what pinkpearl said also, but I took the question as "how long does it take before other people don't call it a rebound relationship." So if you were going out with someone for a year, broke up with them and started dating someone else the next day, it would definitely look like a rebound.
