my friend has clinical depression and just hearing the thing she said started to make me depressed too. I tried very hard and was able to look at the good thing sin life, and now im much better.

everyone thinks these things sometimes, but if you are thinking these things with no major cause, or if you are thinking suicidal things, or if you just want to talk to someone, you should really try to get a counselor or psychologist.

It is hard to stay focused on the postive things in life, one thing I always try to think of is that there is always someone worse off then u. What I mean by that is you may be upset because you did not get that pair of shoes you wanted, but there is a person out there with no feet. Make sense. Stay postive and remember the best things in life are not things. and It is not wanting what you don't have but wanting what you got.

When you start feeling depressed, think of two bad things then after think of two good things in your life. And the positive stuff will keep coming to you. happy If that makes sense?
It really works.

I wouldn't say depressed. But I get sad... And very flat sometimes... Like everything is slow... And you kinda feel helpless and overwelmed by the smallest little thing... And the question what's the point and what am I doing.. Where am I going in my life seem to wonder into my head...

I mean I'm quite a relaxed person but yeah I know what you mean... I also kind of have insomnia.. So I think that is linked to it too. I mean it's 5am right now haha...

But yeah.. Fun mail me if you feel depressed happy

what I have learned to do to get past the blues is to elaborate on what harleyrider was saying, as well as preciouslove- I think of someone who has it worse than me- AND THEN I DONATE TO THAT CHARITY- helping others - helps you (me) as well.

life has it's great moments when we are at the top or our game- and feel great, but it also has it's moments where we do get sad, where we begin to doubt ourselves and our self worth. we need these contrasts sometimes to learn to truly appreciate everything around us.

work through the saddness and you will be alright.
but if you are self harming- seek help, even if you are just confused seek help- I schedule time with a councilor from time to time to just clear my head- to shed some of the accumulated weight that the world has placed on my shoulders- there is nothing wrong with simply talking to a professional from time to time . IT DOES HELP.

Feeling tired all the time? Do you find yourself lying around a lot? This may be signs of depression. But it may just be your body and mind recooperating from something tragic that has happened in your life. If nothing bad has happened, it could still mean depression...I take Celexa every day, and it really helps. It takes about a month to get into your system really good. I'm also Bi-Polar and take stuff for that, but just wanted to let you know that depression will not stop you from living your life. Their is meds out there that can help and Celexa is just one of many. Hope you feel better soon.
