Really horrible nightmare !!

Ok so I know there is a reason for the images and things we see when we sleep , so does any one know what it means when you fall in your sleep ??
I was nodding off last night and I was dreaming about puffs of smoke dotting and going of around me , then...

all of a sudden I grabed someones neck aggresivly but I couldnt see th eperson then I felt a light push then I was falling ,but it felt real like I could hear the wind passing past my ears , then I was screaming but I asked my mate if she heard me she said no , so does anyone it went on for a bout 10 seconds xx

I think I read somewhere that falling in your dream indicates insecurity, lack of control and support, or an overwhelming problem in your life.
it's amazing how dreams explain so much in metaphorical terms. good luck with whichever problem you're having =)

I think it signifies, like heytheresunshine said, lack of security and control - the idea of things being out of your hands and you fear that you can't take lead and keep it on the right tracks.
However, like heartbroken suggested, sometimes dreams are just dreams.
