Why can't I ask this?

if I was to ask I question like "would you be my friend" on here would you guys get mad??? because I did and they got mad!!! should I not ask questions like that??

Instead of asking a question - which might not get read by people who want to add you to their list, etc - then simply send a fun mail, post a comment on their profile, or comment on their pic OR just use the "add to friends" link.

We have yet to have somebody asking about adding friends who couldn't figure it out... And I noticed yesterday we have some nearly 70 year old people participating regularly, seemingly with zero problems (as I never knew they were here until seeing their profile & answers - good ones, too.

So...if a 70 year old can figure it out, and a teenager can't...then, really - something is seriously wrong.

And, if you CAN figure it out, then why not just ask people?

Know what your interests are - say, dancing, homework, and the bible?

You can search for those, click the matching "interest" on the search results, and find people interested in the same thing.

OR you can use the member search to find people, male / female, who live near you or in a specific location & ask them to be friends in fun mail or a profile comment.

Bottom line: asking a question is the *least* efficient way to do it, if you want to add friends to your list. OR ask your real life friends to sign up & use the site We have less ads than any other social network of similar or larger size...which, I think is a good thing.

lol why would you ask this question if you already know the answer, which is yes they would get mad..

sure you can ask questions like that, but you can't control what people say or how they react. you have to be open to anyones opinions even if they are a little rude.

it comes off like you want to be noticed or you want someone to pay attention to you. But yeah I would be your friend if you asked.

We actually will be deleting these from now on. It breaks the Terms of Use, which was just updated yesterday (take a look).

I don't care if you do!! you don't even have to ask!! people add me constantly and they don't ask!! Heyy! That's fine with me if they don't ask!!
