Ready or not?

I am 16, going to turn 17 in about 2 months.
I'm still a virgin, even tho all my friends are not.
and I am not really sure if I am ready, But I am waiting til I know I am ready, or Marriage.

So how would you determine that you're ready?

Dr. Drew on Loveline says that what Bflaughinbaby08 says is a NORMAL comment. Most girls who have sex before 19-20 wish that they had waited longer.

p.s. at least a few of those non-virgin friends of yours are lying so that they won't seem uncool. I was a master at getting people to think I was 'busy'.

not much help- but you just know.

if you in a comitted relationship,
with someone you trust,
they'd be there if you got pregnant.
and wouldn't give you anything (std)
make sure your ready for that emotional attatchment.

belive me, I wish I would have waited b/c it would have been soo much more special if I could have done it for the first time with the guy im with now.

I have to agree. I am 18 and had plenty of really hot/great guys try to sleep with me. But I am still a virgin, and proud of it! I am waiting until I am ready or marriage too. I have another friend who is doing the same. But I understand what you mean especially if all of your friends are doing it. Hold out though, I don't regret not having sex with anyone of those guys. Trust me when you are ready you well know.

I've only made out with one boy my whole life and im still dating him and weve been dating for almost a year now, and thats all we have both done.
my friend who barely ever has a boyfriend has been dating her boyfriend for a lil over a year and theyve done everything but sex and they both are waiting.
my other friend had gone farther than me and my friend in a week, she dated the guy did stuff, he went inside her and stuff and she is regreting it.

just wait for the right moment and/or marriage, im waiting for awhile. at least marriage and if im ready before than, than MAYBE.
