Rating answers

Why can't you rate your own answers?

That would just be pointless.
Everyone would be giving them self a good rating. Its better to leave it to the public. When I go and look at someones advice, and I see (100%) beside their answers, I know they give good advice. If we got to mark our own, it would suck. I like to know what others think of a users advice, not what the user thinks of their own advice. We all think we good advice, thats why its best to give all we can in an answer so we get a good rating. If we continue to give great answers, we will get good ratings. Thats how this all works.

That would be like calling your own name out of the hat at a raffle. lol.
