well that is a hard situation, if it was yourself I AM SORRY.
I think it depends who you are telling.
a parent? I think you should sit down and have a long talk w/ them and tell them slowly all what happened. it will be super hard... but they should know.
COPS?
you will mostly likely need to tell them in detail you might want to bring some one you trust along... you will need a friends shoulder to cry on.
doctor?
the easiest people to tell... they need to with in 72 hours to perform a rape kit.
BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!
Congratulations for wanting to come forward. You're a survivor and don't forget that.
There really isn't one perfect way since we all have unique situations.
For me, I sat my mom down in a quiet corner of a coffee shop.
I told her very vaguely at first and then it just sorta clicked with her and she flat out asked me and I said yes that it happened.
I suggest that you seek professional counseling.

you need to be brave and report it. hopefully you still have time to do a rape kit. get it reported.. I know this is going to be hard to tell them everything you just went through and do a recount of everything...but you need to be an example of strenght for all those other people out their too scared to come out. you did nothing wrong and don't ever forget it!!! be heard and be strong!!! not telling anyone is not healthy and will only damage that precious spirit inside of you. I would broadcast it to the world what that person did to you. keep them away from harning anyone ever again. you should feel liberated once you are heard. I wish you every ounce of confidence and courage a girl could have!!!
ok as a guy I am sorry, I'm very over protective over that situation. I'm glad your wanting to tell someone, easiest way to do it if its a parent is to tell her you need to talk to her in private and that something happend to you. she should respond immediatly to that and go somewhere private.
Just remember not all guys are like that so you dont need to be afraid, you are strong and a survivor. you are a great person and im proud your strong
