How to help someone who was raped?

I know someone from school and she told me at break actually that she had bin raped I dint no what to say to her so I just gave her a hug and let her talk. Her form tutor is beginning to worry about her and wants to know whats happened. she wants to tell her but she dunt want it spreading and she dunt want everyone coming up to her. please help me so I can help her out.! thanks x x x

She should tell. if she ends up telling a teacher, parents or police, the only way other schoolmates are going to know if she told a school mate and they spread it around.

it is not true when they say if you tell someone they will kill you or something like that bc before he or she finds out you told that person will be in jail.
