Raising money

Hi I am trying to raise money a non kill animal shelter but I need more ideas on how to do it. So far I have made flyers and I have made some boxes for people to put money in. But I need more ideas so if you are passionate about animals please help me.

a junk sale/yard sale/ car boot
sponserd walk/ fancy dres walk
car wash
offer to do odd jobs round your neighbourhood for a small price
sell some unwanted things online
cake sale
book sale
face painting

my mums works for an animal shelter, its called woodlands animal sanctuary over here in the uk, and they are trying to raise money to keep the animal sanctuary open, they only take cats, but if they cant get rehomed they keep them, they dont kill them and I think its a very good idea what your doing, and wish there was more people like you! good luck! xxx

you could throw a poetry slam!
Charge like 3 bucks a person( kids under 3 get in free!)
And get some people passionate for the cause!
Sell food and maybe t-shirts and always have a tip jar encase somebody wants to make a donation!
But first hit up all your family for their loot!!!

Owkaiie.. well you cud do a sponsor, like get your friends and family to do something like a sponsored walk so they walk from one place to another and you make sponsor cards and people go from door to door asking for sponsors, or you could do a bag pack, you go to a supermarket, get their permission to do so , get buckets, get volunteers and TA-DA! LOLZ

Firstly good on you for having so much value in another life. Animals feel, love and think just like the rest of us!

Firstly contact you local animal shelter and ask them about some advice on any charitys or organisations that may be able to offer you some support.

Secondly to gain community awareness see if you could get some local businesses to donate something towards a charity auction if they wont offer money sometimes they will be more willing to do this. Secondly its always good to use the greatest non threatening resource the internet! you send 100's of emails to local businesses enquiring about there support if they are something like a cat food company or anything really offer to mention there name as official sponsors to your cause which will give them a further reason to offer there support (its like extremely cheap marketing for them). To REEEMA YEAH ABOUT THAT online fund raiser thing I think it would b a great idea 2 do that online. So type me bac because I dont know how 2 make a web site.
