Who said this quote?

Anyone else know who said this quote? I think it was in a magazine, and I assume it was a woman:

"We become young women the moment we get our first period; We become true women nine months after we miss one."

So, yeah, I would assume it's a woman, I can't figure out where I read it and really know nothing about it. Not much information, I understand. But if you read it, tell me who it was, pretty please!
