Quickfire phone

I am getting the quickfire phone in the mail soon and I just had a couple questions..

I know there is a full keyboard but can I also text with T9 word? Or Abc?
I here that the touch screen is kinda hard to work. Is that true?

Is this phone hard...

to work?
Is it a good phone to have?
