hmm well the question is still there, it just depends on how many pages back it is... say it's in love and relationships... since its a high volume category, there's new questions all the time, and most people wont go back more than 2/3 pages... so it's rare to get an answer more than a couple of days later...
if it's in a less busy category than the odds of getting answers later are higher...

I noticed that over a period of time people stop giving advice to a certian question how long on average does a question last before it expires?
