I have the same problem, and it gets to where I have to leave school.

I put on sweatpants, and lay down on my stomach.
It seems to help me a bit. Not much though.

If I'm sitting somewhere, I curl up in a ball.
Or I take medicine if nothing works.

That doesn't even help me. Lol.

Take ibuprofen pills. They ease the cramping pains. I use 3 pills at a time each are 200mg. If you went to the doctor they'd prescribe 600 to 800mg pills. I just get these over the counter and take enough to kill the pain.
Hope you have some available in the UK.
Get well soon,
Mama K

take some tylenol or some ibuprofen once you know you got your period, before the pain comes. that usually works for me, but if it doesn`t for you. it`ll take some of the pain away anyway happy

Only way I can get rid of it - and I'm on tonnes of medication for the pain - is having a bath in the hottest I can get it without burning me, taking a couple of pain meds, getting into pjamas, have a hot water bottle on my stomach, push down with my stomach on to it, and go to sleep (if I can - only when I'm not in too much pain).
I'm now about to start The Pill - I don't know if that works yet but before I was on something called Ponstan Forte - it worked a bit but I would still get really bad ones once a period.
