Question about work permit

Im only 13,and I live in lansing, michigan. I don't have much to do this summer. So I'd be helpful to get something to do, and I think a job is a really good idea. So what do I have to do to get a permit?

Find a job first, then they should give you the paper work you need to get a work permit. There aren't many places that will hire 13 year olds...most places you have to be 16. If you can't find a job, consider babysitting. That's a good job for kids your age.
