Do they numb you before a clit piercing?

im not thinking about getting a clit piercing but my friend says that they can numb you down there before piercing it please tell me thats not true lol

I don't think so, but I went to a tat place and a girl looked down while the guy did it and threw up everywhere

I have mine done and didn't get numbed.
I didn't watch though, I just looked away and then it was over.
Very uncomfortable situation but all worth it in the end.
I hate the fact of someone I don't know seeing down there but the person barley touched me.
I wouldn't change it for the world, I love my clit ring.
