Satan is the fist angel that fell from grace.

When God first created the universe he said LET THERE BE LIGHT.

Angels were created by light.They were older than us or the earth.

Yet they were made lower than us,because God treated us like his own children.

Satan has many names...in the time before the flood about 200 fallen angels descended upon Mount HErmon which means curse.And made a vow to intermarry with women.And every one of them is on Satans side.He was just the most ancient to rebel against God.He felt too proud to be lowered lower than man.So GOd cast him away from his sight.

The leaders of the fallen angels are chained somewhere in the dessert...they are covered with darkness and there are four arch angels that chained them there and they will be in charge to throw them into hell when it is time.

The Quran confirms the existence of a supernatural and unseen world parallel to our own.
This world is the world of Jinn.
Jinn are beings created before humans, living in EARTH WITH US. They are physically invisible from men.
“Indeed We created man from dried clay of black smooth mud. And We created the Jinn before that from the smokeless flame of fire” (Quran 15:26-27)
The prophet Mohammed said : “The Angels were created from light and the Jinn from smokeless fire.” (Saheeh Muslim)
They have power and abilities beyond humans: possess and take over the minds and bodies of other creatures, flying, fortune telling…etc.
The Prophet said: “They (the Jinn) would pass the information back down until it reaches the lips of a magician or forrtune-teller Sometimes a meteor would overtake them before they could pass it on. If they passed it on before being struck, they would add to it a hundred lies” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari).

SATAN IS FROM THIS WORLD: JINN (Satan is not an Angel). He disobeyed God, he is arrogant and really hates Adam and his offspring (humans). Therefore, he wants to put all human on FIRE by whispering to do wrong deeds.
