Theoretically possible (they did it on Mythbusters) but it was a small flame and VERY big speakers. No real application in the real world, unless I'm missing something.

theoreticaly Sound is vibrations traveling through air. in that aspect is would be posible. but like bimjod said, applacation would be mout.
